Dalmation Pattern Paper Bead Necklace

$75.00
sold out

A necklace made with paper beads made to look like dalmation jasper

The beads are individually cut into squares from thick ivory colored handmade paper and painted with the black markings.

Length is 18 inches, with a toggle clasp that can be fastened at multiple points along the chain to adjust length. The length can be adjusted by adding more rings to the chain attached to the clasp, and this can be requested to be done upon ordering.

The process of making the beads includes adding a water-resistant retention agent and archival booking glue to the paper pulp, and a clear coat designed for jewelry to the entire necklace once it is complete. Excessive moisture should be avoided, but there are multiple layers of material that allow for normal wear. The pulp used for the beads is the same archival, high quality material I use for my handmade paper stationery.

This is a lightweight and stylish necklace you won't find any where else. No one will suspect the beads are made from paper, and is always a great conversation starter when you wear it!

This item is ready-to-ship, but custom inquiries can be made-to-order.
