Paper Pearl Choker

$30.00

A necklace made with paper beads in the style of a pearl choker

The beads themselves are matte white in color. They have an organic, spherical shape that are uniform but each unique, which creates an elegant hand-crafted quality.

Maximum length is 17 inches, with a lobster-claw clasp that can be fastened at multiple points along the chain to adjust length.

The process of making the beads includes adding a water-resistant retention agent and archival booking glue to the paper pulp, and a clear coat designed for jewelry to the entire necklace once it is complete. Excessive moisture should be avoided, but there are multiple layers of material that allow for normal wear. The pulp used for the beads is the same archival, high quality material I use for my handmade paper stationery.

This is a lightweight and stylish necklace you won't find any where else. No one will suspect the beads are made from paper, and is always a great conversation starter when you wear it!

This item is ready-to-ship, but custom inquiries can be made-to-order.
