Desert Stone Paper Bead Necklace

Sale Price: $60.00 Original Price: $75.00

This necklace is made with a variety of colored beads that evoke a desert palette. They are individually hand formed out of paper pulp and hardening additives into organic shapes resembling natural stones

The color of the beads, in order, starting from the clasp, are a gradient of smaller beads in gunmetal grey, light blue-grey, tan, and the bulk of the necklace made up of larger beads in turquoise, and a marbled ochre, white and blue

The clasp is a gunmetal stainless steel spring-ring

Includes a jewelry box made from the same handmade paper in a natural white color

The process of making the beads includes adding a water-resistant retention agent and archival booking glue to the paper pulp, and a clear coat designed for jewelry to the entire necklace once it is complete. Excessive moisture should be avoided, but there are multiple layers of material that allow for normal wear. The pulp used for the beads is the same archival, high quality material I use for my handmade paper stationery.

This is a lightweight and stylish necklace you won't find any where else. No one will suspect the beads are made from paper, and is always a great conversation starter when you wear it!

This item is ready-to-ship, but custom inquiries can be made-to-order.
